By accessing or using TextPure, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the platform, including without limitation users who are browsers, customers, and contributors of content.

Service Description

TextPure is an AI-powered writing assistant platform that helps users create, edit, and improve written content. Our services include: AI-assisted draft generation based on your personal knowledge base; document formatting and citation management; grammar and style checking; AI detection and plagiarism checking tools; and personal knowledge base management. TextPure is designed to assist and augment your writing process, not to replace your own work or judgment.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use TextPure. By using our service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using TextPure on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Account Registration

To access certain features of TextPure, you must register for an account. You agree to: provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration; maintain and promptly update your account information; maintain the security of your password and account; accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account; and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable Use

Permitted Uses

You may use TextPure for: personal writing projects and creative work; academic writing assistance (in compliance with your institution's policies); professional document creation; learning and improving your writing skills; and managing your personal knowledge and references.

Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use TextPure to: violate any applicable laws or regulations; infringe upon intellectual property rights of others; submit AI-generated content as your own work where prohibited by academic integrity policies; generate harmful, abusive, or misleading content; attempt to reverse engineer or extract our AI models; share your account credentials with others; or use automated systems to access the service without permission.

Academic Integrity

TextPure is designed to be a writing assistant tool that helps you improve your own work. We strongly encourage responsible use in academic settings. Users are responsible for: understanding and complying with their institution's academic integrity policies; properly disclosing the use of AI assistance where required; using TextPure outputs as drafts and references, not final submissions; adding their own analysis, insights, and original thinking to any generated content. TextPure clearly marks all AI-generated content as drafts requiring user review and modification.

Intellectual Property

Our Intellectual Property

TextPure and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TextPure and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written consent.

Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you upload to TextPure. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing our services to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the service.

Payment and Subscriptions

Some features of TextPure require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to: pay all fees associated with your subscription plan; provide accurate billing information; authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis; and review and accept any changes to pricing with 30 days notice. Refunds are handled according to our refund policy. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access until the end of your billing period.

Disclaimers

TextPure is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that: the service will be uninterrupted or error-free; AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose; the service will meet your specific requirements; or any errors will be corrected. You acknowledge that AI-generated content requires human review and judgment. TextPure is not responsible for decisions made based on AI outputs.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TextPure and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill; academic consequences resulting from misuse of the service; or any damages arising from your reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TextPure, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: your use of the service; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any third-party rights; or any content you upload or create using our service.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination: your right to use the service will cease immediately; we may delete your account and data (subject to our data retention policy); and provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account settings.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by: posting the updated Terms on this page; updating the "Last Updated" date; and sending an email notification for significant changes. Your continued use of TextPure after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the service.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of TextPure shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
